National Super League team announces a new head coach, aiming to revitalize their strategy and secure a top league position.

Football Kenya Federation National Super League outfit Mara Sugar FC has sparked fresh enthusiasm among its fan base with the confirmation of Vincent Nyaberi as the new head coach.

This strategic move comes in the wake of Francis Xavier's departure to FKF Premier League side Sofapaka, leaving the spot open for a new visionary.

Nyaberi, a respected figure in Kenyan football and a former national team player, has parted ways with Murang’a Seal in a move that was shrouded in mystery since his exit in August.

However, Mara Sugar has not hesitated to bring on board a leader with such an esteemed pedigree.

“Mara Sugar FC is pleased to announce the appointment of Vincent Nyaberi to the position of Head Coach,” announced the club.

The anticipation was high that Nyaberi might return to his old stomping ground at Shabana FC, but it is Mara Sugar that has ultimately won the race for his signature.

Nyaberi's recent completion of his CAF B license speaks volumes about his dedication to professional growth and tactical knowledge, which Mara Sugar is eager to capitalize on.

The upcoming match against Mombasa Elite, set to be played at their home ground in Awendo, will be the litmus test for Nyaberi.

Mara Sugar leads the pack in the 20-team NSL with 16 points from seven matches.

The Sugar Millers ambitions do not just end at the top of the standings as they are also eyeing the coveted FKF Premier League promotion, a dream that narrowly slipped through their fingers last season after finishing fourth.
