Man United Complicate Newcastle’s Plans

This move comes after Manchester United's recent acquisitions of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo for a combined £133.5 million, bolstering their attacking options.

Newcastle's pursuit of Sesko stems from the potential departure of their current striker, Alexander Isak. Isak has reportedly expressed his desire to leave the club this summer and is currently absent from Newcastle's pre-season tour, officially due to a "minor thigh injury."

Teammate Bruno Guimaraes addressed the rumors linking Isak with a move to Liverpool, stating, "He's a top striker. His record over the last three seasons speaks for itself. He's a top player. But as far as I know, he's only staying behind because of his injury, for treatment with the club."

Reports suggest Isak has been offered a lucrative £32 million-a-year deal from Saudi Arabia, but his preference is reportedly a move to Liverpool.
