Liverpool are among clubs who have joined the race to sign playmaker Kevin De Bruyne who is set to end his hugely successful 10-year stint at Manchester City.

Liverpool have reportedly joined the race to sign Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne who is coming to the end of his time with the outgoing Premier League champions.

De Bruyne will bring the curtains down on his hugely successful 10-year spell at Manchester City when the season concludes and a number of clubs have expressed an interest to sign him although he is yet to make a decision.

Clubs in Italy, MLS and Germany have been mentioned while Aston Villa are the Premier League side heavily linked in England but now, according to The Sun, Liverpool are also keen on the Belgian midfielder.

The outlet reports that Liverpool have made an offer to De Bruyne as they look to bolster their squad which has just won the Premier League title without making any signings last summer.

Kevin De Bruyne has also attracted interest from Napoli and Aston Villa.

Liverpool want to bolster the team with a number of signings this summer to help manager Arne Slot retain the Premier League title while also fight for Champions League glory next season and De Bruyne could be among those lining up at Anfield.

It makes Liverpool the second Premier League team to be credited with an interest in the 33-year-old with Aston Villa reported to have held internal discussions over the possibility of moving for him.

Serie A side Napoli are also believed to be keen on De Bruyne, who wants to continue his career in Europe and not move to the United States or Saudi Arabia.

The midfielder has spent 10 years at City since joining in the summer of 2025 from German club Wolfsburg, scoring 108 goals and providing 177 assists in 418 games.
