Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports, Jeremie Frimpong admitted that it will not be a walk in the park living up to expectations of replacing Trent Alexander-Arnold.

However, he added that he has all it takes to make a mark and is ready to bring his mentality and talent to the club.

Jeremie Frimpong is also elated to be playing in the Premier League, noting that growing up, that was his dream, and he is glad to have achieved that at a young age.

"It's big shoes, but it's Liverpool, it's a big team that wins trophies for a reason. If you play for Liverpool, you have to fill the shoes and perform. I've always believed in myself. I'm a winner. That's what I'll bring," Jeremie Frimpong said.

"The Premier League is the best league in the world. I grew up in Manchester, so I always wanted to come back. It was always the plan.”

He added that Arne Slot has expressed deep admiration for him as a player, and that gives him extra motivation to keep showing up.

He pointed out that Bayer Leverkusen are also champions in their own right, hence making the environment at Liverpool easy to adapt.

"I know what being a champion is like at Bayer Leverkusen, so joining a champion team is a privilege, especially for Liverpool,” he revealed.

“To go from watching them to playing for them is crazy. The manager has told me how I can help the team, and he really likes me as a player. It's given me extra motivation and belief."

While Jeremie Frimpong acknowledges the weight of expectation in stepping into Trent Alexander-Arnold’s role, his winning mentality and Premier League dream have him fully committed to embracing the challenge and proving himself at Liverpool.

With Trent Alexander-Arnold’s departure, Liverpool will be forced to evolve, and Jeremie Frimpong offers them a fresh dynamic as they aim to retain their Premier League title next season.
