Felix Oluoch Delivers Second Straight Victory for Gor Mahia as K’Ogalo Hand KCB Reality Check

Gor Mahia ended KCB’s winning start to the season as they secured a 1-0 win thanks to Felix Oluoch’s goal.

Gor Mahia made it back-to-back league wins as they secured a 1-0 victory over KCB at the Dandora Stadium on Sunday.

K’Ogalo went into the match knowing victory would lift them above the bankers on the table and did just that as Felix Oluch’s goal gave them all three points against Robert Matano’s side.

Oluoch tapped home in the 62nd minute after some good work from new signing Ebenezer Adukwaw, the Ghanaian laying it on the plate for him as he did the rest with ease.

Adukwaw had a good time on the day as he proved to be a handful for the KCB defenders, constantly running rings around them.

In the build-up to the goal, he danced his way past KCB defenders before squaring the ball to Oluoch and had a couple of such moments earlier in the game.

However, K’Ogalo could not finish off their chances but still did enough to secure a win which sees them move to third place on the table with six points, just ahead of KCB on goal difference.

It is a second straight win for Gor Mahia after beating Sofapaka 2-0 last week and head into the international break high on confidence.

Coach Charles Akonnor will be hoping that his players return unscathed as they have goalkeeper Byrne Omondi, defenders Sylvester Owino, Michael Kibwage as well as midfielders Alpha Onyango, Ben Stanley Omondi and Austin Odhiambo called up to the national team.

Gor Mahia have what appears to be an easy match on paper against newly-promoted APs Bomet after the international break.
