Mixed Reactions as Gor Mahia Mount Guard of Honour for Champions Kenya Police
Kenyan football fans gave varying views regarding Gor Mahia’s decision to mount a guard of honour for Kenya Police despite recent claims that K’Ogalo would snub the pre-match ritual.
Talanta have in their ranks top marksman Emmanuel Osoro, who has ended the season with 16 goals, and will struggle to hold onto him now that they are in the second tier.
Meanwhile, it is still not happy days for Posta Rangers, who escaped automatic relegation but still need to win a two-legged playoff to secure their top flight status.
Rangers will take on Naivas FC, who finished third in the second-tier National Super League, and they must come out on top to stay in the Premier League.
Talanta and City Stars’ places in the top tier will be taken by Nairobi United and APS Bomet, who earned direct promotions, after first and second place finishes in the NSL.
