Inter maintain their 100 per cent record in their charge to dethrone Napoli by demolishing AC Milan.
Inter registered their fifth consecutive victory against next-door neighbours Milan in grand fashion, romping them 4-1.
Though they play their home games on the same ground, Simeone Inzaghi's side are the official host of the game. Buoyed by the boisterous Nerazzurri crowd, they recorded a famous victory over their bittermost rivals.

Lautaro Martinez: Are we sleeping on the Inter Milan captain’s brilliance?
The Inter superstar is forging an exciting partnership with Marcus Thuram, just as he dovetailed with Romelu Lukaku and Edin Dzeko. Could this be the year Lautaro claims his first Capocannoniere, dethroning Victor Osimhen?
How it happened
Inazaghi’s men started with a pop and went ahead in the 5th minute of the game thanks to the determined play of new signing Marcus Thuram.
The France International shrugged off opposition before cutting the ball back into the box. It fell to Frederico Di Marco, who teed up Henrikh Mkhitaryan for a one-touch finish.
Inter dropped the tempo after their peppy start and invited pressure from the visitors. The Rossoneri accepted the invitation and came close to scoring on a number of occasions, with Theo Hernandez and Rafael Leao spinning guilt-edge opportunities.
The Nerazzurri set up to hit Milan in transition in a show of ruthless efficiency, they made it 2-0.
Denzel Dumfries was released into space before he squared it across to Thuram. Milan's defence quickly recovered, and with the numerical advantage from the transition seeming to be lost for Inter, Thuram pulled off a stunning strike in the 38th minute to send the Giuseppe Meazza rocking.
AC Milan seemed to tweak their setup slightly at the start of the second-half, as they were not attacking with as much lack of care as they did in the first 45.
This allowed them to find spaces behind the Inter backline, and in the 57th minute, they reaped rewards. Leao was released into space, and he slotted the ball past Yann Sommer to make it 2-1.
Despite their improved showing, it was Milan who conceded again, as Mkhitaryan restored Inter's two-goal advantage in the 69th minute, aided by a slight deflection.
The result became more embarrassing in the 79th minute, with Milan's old boy Hakan Calhanoglu inflicting more punishment from the penalty spot. Lautaro Martinez was fouled in the box, and the Turk stepped up to take the resulting penalty, he made no mistake.
The scoring did not end there, as another new boy, Davide Frattesi, added his name to the scoresheet, finishing a sweeping team move to make it 5-1.
What this means
Both teams came into the match with a 100 per cent record, and a win would set the victory clear at the top of the log.
Inter are now the current leaders of Serie A with 12 points as they continue their charge towards dethroning Napoli.
