Rodrygo Linked with Premier League Trio as Real Madrid Future Hangs in Balance
Arsenal are said to try and sign Real Madrid's Rodrygo if a loan transfer is possible with the Brazilian winger's future at the Santiago Bernabéu becoming increasingly in doubt as per Sports Illustrated.
The 24-year-old was being courted by a string of Premier League clubs in the summer, including Arsenal, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur.
Rodrygo played just once for Real Madrid in the Club World Cup and appears to have slipped down the pecking order under new manager Xabi Alonso.

With shooting stars Kylian Mbappé, Vinicius Jr, and Jude Bellingham leading the Madrid attack, Rodrygo's place in the team is under threat.
While the official Madrid line is that the forward stays, agents have been going behind the scenes to explore possibilities, according to The Times.
Despite Real wanting a transfer completed on a permanent basis—reportedly seeking a fee of about €90 million—Arsenal are only allegedly willing to make a move if they can do it on a loan basis.
That transfer fee, and Rodrygo's huge contract that will see him at the club until 2028, makes a full transfer unlikely for the north London club in this window.
Arteta Still Eyeing Wide Reinforcements
Arsenal's summer transfer business included the signing of Noni Madueke as a wide player, but Mikel Arteta is reported to be seeking another wide player to provide depth.
Crystal Palace starlet Eberechi Eze has been heavily linked, but with the Englishman often played centrally, the Gunners are reported to be leaning towards a more traditional wide-forward choice like Rodrygo.
Eze remains under observation from the club, although a transfer is no longer deemed a priority. Rodrygo, whose reputation was forged on the peripheries for Brazilian outfit Santos, would be just the ticket as a natural winger who can bring flair and directness to Arsenal's attack.
Liverpool and Spurs Also in the Frame
Arsenal are not alone in pursuit. Liverpool are said to have made contact with Rodrygo's representatives after missing out on Newcastle target Alexander Isak, according to ESPN Brazil.
Liverpool are said to have reached personal terms with the Brazilian but are still to make an offer.
Tottenham too have been keen throughout the summer, with manager Ange Postecoglou keen to add pace and know-how out wide.
While Real Madrid have not pushed Rodrygo to the exit, they would be willing to listen to a serious offer if the finances are attractive, sources indicate.
Currently, Arsenal are poised in reserve. If Madrid do pull out and allow a loan transfer, Arteta's side would be able to offer Rodrygo a fresh start—and a central role—within the Premier League.
