Chelsea and Manchester United could be involved in a surprise swap deal involving Christopher Nkunku and Alejandro Garnacho.

Nkunku has struggled to secure a regular starting spot at Chelsea.

Under former manager, Mauricio Pochettino, he primarily featured in Europa Conference League matches.

The Frenchman has only nine Premier League starts and three goals to his name, despite being contracted to the London club until 2029.

According to French outlet L'Equipe, Manchester United representatives have met with Nkunku's agents in recent days.

United haven't yet made an official bid to Chelsea for Nkunku. The Frenchman joined Chelsea in the summer of 2023 for £53 million.
