“I was prepared for any outcome of this match, and I had already said earlier that we had enough preparations ahead of our match against Uganda,” Olivier Niyunnkeko said.
“This was our second match, but we did not get the field to do our preparations, and that might have contributed to our loss.

Olivier Niyunnkeko added that the standard of football is rising in East Africa, and he cannot wait to see what the future holds.
“I observed the first two goals just passed the centre back, and that is what I have to check in the upcoming match,” he said.
“All teams are well-prepared for this tournament, and that is a good thing for East Africa, and we hope that we shall have teams playing at WAFCON.
“Tanzania are looking good and raising the standard of football, but we have to wait and see how they perform in their remaining matches.”
