Newly elected AFC Leopards chairman Boniface Ambani has vowed to begin rebuilding the squad immediately by making key signings and releasing underperforming players.
Boniface Ambani is getting to work immediately after being elected AFC Leopards' new chairman following their polls on Sunday, June 29.
Boniface Ambani garnered 1,101 votes, while his opponent, Enos Mutoka, managed to collect only 656 votes from the four polling stations spread across the voting centres.
The former Harambee Stars striker is already gearing up to hit the ground running, noting that there is no room for complacency after taking over from Dan Shikanda, who has been at the helm of AFC Leopards since 2019.

The former Yanga SC star disclosed that now that the league is over, he will be looking to make proper signings and let go of the players who have been of no or little value to the club.
He noted that being among the last crop of players who won the Premier League title in 1998, he knows exactly what is needed, and that is what he is going to do.
