Sources reveal that Real Madrid is also preparing to introduce three new signings alongside Alonso’s arrival, including Trent Alexander-Arnold and two defensive reinforcements.

Carlo Ancelotti’s departure comes after a string of disappointing results, culminating in a 4-3 El Clásico loss to Barcelona that saw Real Madrid squander a two-goal lead.

Despite being the club’s most decorated coach, with 15 major trophies including three Champions League titles as a manager and player, the Italian’s cycle at Madrid has come to an end.

Ancelotti is expected to leave once the current La Liga season concludes, with a farewell befitting his legendary status planned.
