The defender has officially parted ways with Ingwe marking the end of his impactful two-and-a-half-year journey with the FKFPL powerhouse.

Seasoned defender Tedian Esilaba has parted ways with Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) giants AFC Leopards.

The departure marks the end of a dedicated two-and-a-half-year stint, during which Esilaba left an indelible mark on the club's history.

In a short post on social media, Esilaba has appreciated the club and confirmed that he is now officially a free-agent.

"Thank you, AFC Leopards SC. It was with great pleasure and honor. All the very best in your future. God bless Leopards," he wrote.

Esilaba's stay at Leopards was not without its share of challenges as his career was marked by unfortunate encounters with injuries that temporarily derailed his path.

Despite these setbacks, when fit, he consistently showcased his skill and determination, earning him a place in the starting lineup under the guidance of former head coach Patrick Aussems.

His journey with Ingwe commenced in 2021 when he made the pivotal decision to join their ranks from Nairobi City Stars.

He also played for Administration Police FC and Bidco FC, showcasing his versatility and adaptability as he navigated through different footballing environments.

As Esilaba embarks on the next chapter of his career, speculations abound about his potential return to Nairobi City Stars.

Reports suggest that he might be headed back to his former club, where he once played a crucial role in securing promotion.

Should this reunion materialise, it would undoubtedly mark a poignant moment in Esilaba's career, showcasing his unwavering commitment to his footballing roots.
