Ademola Lookman’s brace helped Nigeria through to the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) quarter-final as the Super Eagles remain unbeaten against Cameroon in five successive competitive matches following a 2-0 victory.

The 26-year-old has been consistent in Cote d’Ivoire and was simply unplayable against the five-time champions, Cameroon, with the stats behind his display underlining his dominance.
Apart from his decisive double, which was the ultimate difference between sides, Lookman created two chances and made two key passes, carving the Lions open, with the notable one late in the game for Alex Iwobi.

The former Everton man also created a big chance while his two goals came from just two shots on target to underline how clinical he was against the hapless Lions.
