'Mtu Kazi' has promised to floor the Kenyan once more during the rematch that will occur at Sarit Expo Centre on July 22 in Nairobi
He revealed that a win over Mandoga will mean his promoter will organise a fight for him to reclaim his ABU title. He added that it will also open more doors for him as he will be able to compete internationally.
“I only have one aim, I want to reclaim my ABU title but my loss to Mandonga slowed me down and disrupted my plans. This time around, I want to win so that my promoter can organise a match for me to reclaim my title here (Nairobi). I want to emerge top in Africa again.
Successful title reclamation will mean I will continue fighting internationally and leave Mandonga to keep fighting at these low levels. I am on another level and want to return there,” bullish Wanyonyi said.
He added that he will be looking to teach Mandonga a lesson since he is like a child to him. Their rematch bout is scheduled for July 22 and Wanyonyi has promised to take Wanyonyi back to class to teach him the basics of boxing.
“He (Mandonga) is a small boy and he doesn’t really know much about boxing. I want to take him back to class and give him lessons for free…I am not planning to charge him.

Wanyonyi will once again return to the ring on July 22 for a non- title fight against the Tanzanian boxer.
He is still budding and I will be keen to add some little knowledge to him since I have been in the game for quite a long time. He will be paid, yes, but he will also have learned some things,” Wanyonyi said.
