The quarter-finals clash, held at Uhuru Park in Nairobi saw Juma, under the tutelage of coach Ian "Major" Otieno from Kasarani Boxing Club, outpoint Bakari in a fiercely contested featherweight bout, marking one of the most significant upsets in recent boxing history.
