No Date Yet, But Hill Is Locked In

While a new date or venue has not been finalized, Hill made it clear he’s continuing to train with the race in mind.

“I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve been training incredibly hard. I actually have a race next week and I’m hoping to break 10 seconds,” he said.
Hill recently clocked around 10.1 seconds in the 100m, just shy of elite track standards but still a stunning time for an NFL player.
By contrast, Lyles, the reigning Olympic gold medalist, boasts a personal best of 9.79 seconds, recorded during the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Despite expressing respect for Lyles’ accomplishments, Hill did not hold back when describing his desire to beat the sprinter.
