Jamaican sprint legend Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce made her long-awaited return to track in triumphant fashion after quashing retirement rumours this month.
Fraser-Pryce stormed to victory in the 100m last weekend to win the Velocity Fest 17 in Kingston in 10.94 seconds (+3.1m/s), the fastest time of the evening, in what was her 300th race.
The 38-year-old’s return has got fans excited over the possibility of an epic battle with track rivals like Shericka Jackson, Julien Alfred and Sha’Carri Richardson as well as Elaine Thompson-Herah.

The mother of one says hair is her best opportunity to express herself and uses the different styles to gain an advantage over her track rivals as it gives her the glow and confidence to succeed.
"It's about expressing yourself and being comfortable with who you are - showing up for work in your best outfit and giving yourself the advantage to perform at your best," Fraser-Pryce told The Mirror in 2023.
