Jamaican sprint legend Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce proved that she is ready for the season when she crushed her opponents in a race at her son’s school’s sports day.

Jamaican sprint legend Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce takes whatever she does seriously and that even includes a parent’s school fun day.

Fraser-Pryce has succeeded on the track, in business and philanthropy and that hunger to be the best follows her wherever she goes.

This was on full display during a recent parent’s fun day at her son’s school.

Fraser-Pryce joined fellow parents at the event where they engaged in various sports activities as she showed up for her son Zyon, who was born in 2017.

When it came to the 100m, Fraser-Pryce did not care that the field included amateurs or perhaps retired athletes.

When the ‘start gun’ went off, she took off and left everyone way behind, dusting the floor with her opponents, as she ended the race and waited for them to arrive one by one.

Fraser-Pryce Issued A Warning Before Destroying The Field

It is not known what she clocked but it was akin to the many battles she has had with her opponents on the track, a feat that would have made Zyon happy seeing his mother obliterate the field.

Some might have seen it as a ‘showoff’ but Fraser-Pryce had already issued a warning before the race began.

“Mi ago drop out dem gyal ya belly bottom [I’ll drop out these girls belly bottom],” she said in the warmup leading up to the race.

It is not the first time the eight-time Olympics and 16-time World Championship medalist was destroying the field at her son’s school’s sports day.

She did the same in 2023 and her latest race comes a week after she announced that she will be back on the track to compete in 2025 in what will be her final season on track.

Fraser-Pryce’s fans will hope to see her obliterate the field in major championships this year.
