Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce showed no signs of rustiness as she ran a great leg to help Jamaica seal a place in the women’s 4x100m final at the World Relays Championships.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pyrce showed that even at 38, she still got it, as she ran a great leg to help Jamaica to the women’s 4x100m final at the 2025 World Relays Championships in Guangzhou, China on Saturday.

Lining up in her first major championship since the Paris 2024 Olympics, Fraser-Pryce teamed up with Tina Clayton, Tia Clayton and Shericka Jackson and made no mistakes.

Tina Clayton was on the first leg but did not do so well as she had three others ahead of her but when she passed the baton to Fraser-Pryce, the 10-time world champion displayed her elegance and class, storming off to beat two of the three who were ahead of her, before passing to Tia Clayton.

It made work easier for Tia Clayton although she still struggled to keep up with her rivals before passing the baton to Jackson, who did everything within her powers to finish in the top two and book a place in Sunday’s final.
