The experience, dubbed Kaptagat to Boston, is showcasing how the Kenyan prepared and broke his own world record in Berlin

Eliud Kipchoge has not even run his maiden race in Boston but he is already being celebrated in the American city.

Boston Hill Running Company set up the Kipchoge Museum in March which has been showcasing the behind-the-scenes training content, items from his racing past, the all-new book celebrating his world record run in Berlin and much more.

All this in an effort to celebrate the only human being ever to break 2:00 hours in the marathon.

“Head to Heartbreak Newton for the Kaptagat to Boston experience. View the singlet and shoes from Eliud's record-breaking run-in Berlin (2:01:19) at the Kipchoge Museum, take a tour of Heartbreak Hill with coach Dan and Galen Rupp, checkout the cutting-edge Nike Sport Research Lab Running Analysis and more,” the company said while inviting fans for the Kipchoge experience.

The Kipchoge Museum features the Nike Air Zoom Alphafly Next% 2 shoe that he wore on his way to breaking his own world record in Berlin 2022 by setting a new mark of 2:01:19.

It also contains the ‘Impossible is Nothing’ singlet that the world marathon record holder donned on that day, photos of the grueling terrain in Kaptagat, Nandi County where he trained ahead of the September 25, 2022 event.

Fans can also sample the books written in honour of Kipchoge after the race, listen to his interviews plus some of his most memorable quotes which serves as an inspiration to many.

The Boston Hill Running Company has taken advantage of Kipchoge’s presence in Boston to promote his achievements as a way of bringing him even closer to fans in the city.

The two-time Olympic champion will feature in his first Boston Marathon on Monday, seeking to break the course record, in what is just his second ever marathon in the United States since winning in Chicago in 2014, his maiden major marathon victory.
