The Swiss sprint star has withdrawn from the Kip Keino Classic for a joyful new chapter.
Two-time world indoor champion Mujinga Kambundji has withdrawn from the sixth edition of the Kip Keino Classic scheduled for Saturday, May 31.
The two-time European champion was the star attraction in the women’s 100m but has been forced to pull out of the race, for a great reason, of course.
Mujinga Kambundji’s withdrawal from the event comes as a huge setback for Athletics Kenya since she would be a crowd puller as expected, and Kenyan fans were eager to watch her compete.
