Olympic champion Julien Alfred mounted a fierce challenge, taking second place in a season’s best 10.83 seconds.
In a tight battle for third, 2023 world 100m champion Sha'Carri Richardson edged past Jamaica’s Brianna Lyston as both sprinters stopped the clock at 10.96 seconds.
Poland’s Ewa Swoboda completed the top five, crossing the line in 11.00 seconds in front of the home crowd.

Meanwhile, Sha'Carri Richardson opened her 2026 season with speed on the relay, anchoring a 4x100m squad to victory in 41.70 seconds at the Tom Jones Memorial in Gainesville.
On the Diamond League circuit in China, she notched consecutive fourth-place finishes in the 200m, running 22.42 seconds in Shaoxing and 22.38 seconds in Xiamen.
Returning to the 100m, she claimed wins at the USATF LA Grand Prix (10.99) and the Star Athletics Sprint Series (10.77), before taking second place at the Prefontaine Classic in 10.79 seconds.
The pinnacle of her season came at the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Icahn Stadium in New York, where she swept through the rounds before storming to the national 100m title in a season-best 10.77 seconds.
On her part, Julien Alfred rounded up her indoor campaign with a bronze-medal finish in the 60m at the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Toruń, where she clocked 7.03 in the final.
Outdoors, she secured double victories in the 100m (10.93) and 200m (21.86) at the Texas Invitational before sweeping the Diamond League circuit.
She dominated the 200m with victories in Rome (21.93), Monaco (a blazing 21.51), and London (21.66). Alfred was equally unstoppable in the 100m, capturing top honours at the Oslo Bislett Games in a wind-assisted 10.76 and winning the Gyulai István Memorial in Budapest in 10.87.
Melissa Jefferson-Wooden has enjoyed a stellar 2026 season. She kicked off her outdoor campaign in April by anchoring a 4x100m relay squad to victory at the Tom Jones Memorial in 41.70 seconds.
Moving onto the Diamond League circuit, she scored a runner-up finish in the 200m in Rome (22.17) before dominating the 100m with wins in Stockholm (10.84) and at the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene (10.78).
At the USA Outdoor Championships in New York, she captured the national 200m title in a blistering time of 21.69 seconds.
