Agnes Ngetich has maintained her focus on winning races rather than breaking records, revealing what it takes to achieve them.
Agnes Ngetich stole the spotlight from Faith Kipyegon at the Sirikwa Classic Cross Country but despite having a spectacular start to her season, she is not looking forward to breaking any records.
At the Sirikwa Classic, Agnes Ngetich was in a class of her own as she destroyed a strong field, claiming the win in the women’s senior race. Faith Kipyegon was a favourite to win but did not finish the race.
Agnes Ngetich is one of the consistent road runners, being the world record holder in the 10km and also having run the second-fastest half marathon in her debut in Valencia last year.
