Heartbreak for Junior Starlets as World Cup Dream Ends After Rollercoaster Clash With Cameroon
Kenya fought valiantly in Yaoundé but ultimately fell short as Cameroon secured World Cup qualification with composure.
The previous record of 30:01 was set by the late Agnes Tirop back in 2021.
Ngetich crossed the finish line well ahead of her closest competitors, Ethiopia’s Fentaye Belayneh and Senayet Getachew, who both finished in 30:30 to take second and third place respectively.
It was another incredible milestone for Ngetich, who continues to redefine what’s possible on the road.
