When and where to watch Sporting Lagos challenge wounded NPFL champions Enyimba

Newly promoted side Sporting Lagos is set for a first taste of what to expect in the Nigerian top flight next season when they take on champions Enyimba International in the Naija Super 8. 

Enyimba hosts Sporting Lagos, who are still in a celebratory mood following their promotion to the NPFL, on Sunday.

The Tech boys will play in front of their home fans for the first time since they became the 70th club to play in the NPFL after promotion from the NNL in Asaba last week.

Back home in Lagos following that stellar display in the NNL playoffs, the Tech boys will take to the Mobolaji Johnson, MJ, Arena, their home turf, for the first time in a big clash against NPFL giants Enyimba.

The People’s Elephant is the current football league champion in Nigeria after an unbeaten run to the title, their ninth, in the NPFL Super 6 last season.

However, Enyimba kicked off its Naija Super 8 campaign on a shaky note after a 2-1 defeat against nemesis Remo Stars. 

So, while Sporting is still celebrating and raring to put their NPFL credential to test against the current holders, the Aba Millionaires are looking to prey on their naievty to kick start their Naija Super 8 with a win.

Enyimba vs Sporting Lagos is the second game of the day and is scheduled to kick off at 4:30 pm Nigerian time. 

The keenly anticipated clash will be shown live on Dstv via SuperSport which is the lead sponsor of the Naija Super 8.

Also, additional viewing could come from Sporting Lagos via their YouTube channel which has streamed all their matches this season.

Sporting Lagos has never lost to Nigerian champions Enyimba.
