Jamaican sprinter Brianna Lyston will train with Noah Lyles’ coach, Lance Brauman, at the Pure Athletics training camp located at the National Training Centre (NTC) in Clermont, Florida.

Brianna Lyston officially ended her collegiate career at Louisiana State University (LSU) and turned professional in May 2025.

The decision was confirmed after LSU Head Coach Dennis Shaver received a letter from Brianna Lyston on May 4, 2025, informing the program of her choice to forgo her remaining NCAA eligibility.

Briana Lyston’s agent, Dwight Thomas, confirmed that she has relocated to the United States, where she will continue her athletics career under the guidance of renowned coach Lance Brauman.

The agent highlighted Lance Brauman's impressive track record of mentoring world-class sprinters who have achieved success at the highest levels, including multiple world and Olympic champions.

He added that Brianna Lyston is now in a supportive setting that will foster her development and help her reach her full potential.

“Briana is in the States. She will stay here, currently in the States and continue her career under the tutelage and the management of Lance Brauman,” the agent shared in an interview with TVJ News.

“Everyone probably knows from past athletes that he has had great success with, you know, Veronica Campbell, Tyson Gay, you know, the list goes on, Steve Mullings to some extent, Warren Weir to some extent, trained under his tutelage.

“They won multiple world titles and Olympic gold medals. So, she's in good hands. She is in a good place and a great environment for, as I would say, her to grow.”

The 2022 world under-20 200m champion spent three years at LSU, having joined in 2022 after a standout high school career in Jamaica.

She is a former standout for Hydel and St Jago High schools. Before turning pro, she had already signed a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal with Adidas in February 2024.

As she departs the collegiate ranks, Brianna Lyston carries personal bests of 10.91 seconds for the 100 meters and 22.31 seconds for the 200 meters.
