Super Eagles and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is in the running for yet another award to put the seal on an incredible 2023.

Osimhen, the reigning African Footballer of the Year, is vying for more honours to close out an outstanding 2023.

The 24-year-old Nigerian striker was instrumental as Napoli romped to the 2023 Scudetto, winning the Golden Boot in the process.

Osimhen to battle Messi, Ronaldo for Globe Soccer Awards

Now, less than 24 hours after being crowned African Footballer of The Year, Osimhen has been nominated for Best Men's Player at the Globe Soccer Awards.

The other nominees are Jude Bellingham, Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbape, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Karim Benzema, Bernardo Silva, Vinicius Junior, Mohamed Salah, and Kevin De Bruyne.

Osimhen will fancy his chances after a fantastic 2023 with Napoli.
