Osimhen in RED-HOT form: Can Napoli's star man catch Martinez in Golden Boot race?

Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez sits top of the scorers chart but Osimhen is back from injury and back among the goals.

Victor Osimhen returned from a lengthy lay-off and has now scored two goals and contributed two assists, slowly getting back to his best.

The 24-year-old now looks fully recovered from the injury he sustained in Nigeria's 2-2 draw against Saudi Arabia at the start of October.

Osimhen was outstanding against Cagliari, scoring a fine goal before setting up teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia with a contender for assist of the season.

Osimhen came into this season with several goals, one of which was surely to retain the Golden Boot he won last season but injuries and Napoli's inconsistent start to the season has derailed him so far.
