Money fall on you! How Remo Stars boss gifted players, staff millions in cash
Remo Stars owner and president Hon. Kunle Soname was in a happy mood after he celebrated players and staff at the club with monetary gifts.
Soname rewarded his stars lavishly with cash gifts in the region of N28 million following an excellent season in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
Remo Stars smile to the bank
In what was a show of appreciation, the club president put smiles on the faces of his employees for a job well done in the NPFL.
Remo Stars enjoyed a successful 2023 season in the NPFL after a second-place finish in the Super 6.
The Sky Blues repeated in the final phase of the season their feat in the regular but abridged campaign to end the season with a ticket to CAF Champions League.
Following a successful season, their president celebrated the players and staff for an incredible feat.
A breakdown of the cash gifts
According to the club media, the players received the most with a reward of N20 million.
Coach Daniel Ogunmodede, his backroom staff and the medical team were handed a cheque of N5 million.
The club media received N1.5 million for an excellent season, with the supporters club not left behind as they were given N1.5 million as well.
Also, an additional N1.5 million was handed to the team by two special guests who attended the event at the Remo Stars home in Ikenne.
