Flamingos in Morocco
The young squad landed in the North African side and were greeted by the vibrant energy of Morocco, hosts for the tournament for the first time from October 19 to November 9.
The Flamingos, dressed in their sleek gray Nike tracksuits were captured in a series of photos that have gone viral on social media.
Ahead of the tournament, the team is scheduled to play two warm-up friendlies against New Zealand and Paraguay.
Drawn in Group D, the Flamingos will take on France, Canada, and Samoa at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
Their campaign kicks off against Canada on October 19 at the Football Academy Mohammed VI in Sale.
The Flamingos will aim to emulate the Super Falcons, who also won the WAFCON in Morocco earlier this year with a sensational 3-2 comeback victory against the hosts on July 26, 2025.
