Mikel Obi and Salomon Kalou: Super Eagles legend explains Tom and jerry role at Chelsea

He often recounted how Kalou would frequently "nick" his shower gel and cream, leading to light-hearted yet persistent exchanges.

This behavior, while initially frustrating for Mikel, became a running joke that highlighted Kalou's mischievous nature and Mikel's tolerance and affection for his teammate.

Mikel revealed that they were often referred to as "Tom and Jerry" within the Chelsea dressing room, a nickname that perfectly captured their constant bickering.

Mikel described how Kalou would go to his locker and take his cream while he was in the shower, not returning it but instead keeping it in his own locker.

When confronted, Kalou would dismissively tell Mikel to go get a new one, further epitomizing their playful yet competitive relationship.

This environment was instrumental in their collective achievements, including winning the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League, and multiple FA Cups.
