Memphis Depay: Ghanaian-born star shows off pendant of iconic celebration

The Netherlands star of Ghanaian descent, Memphis Depay, is back on the trends of social media.

Atletico Madrid forward Memphis Depay is back in Ghana for the summer after a difficult season in the Spanish La Liga.

The Dutch-born player from Ghana arrived alongside Paris Saint-Germain star and top player Georginio Wijnaldum.

While in Ghana, Wijnaldum and Depay took part in a number of initiatives, including visiting the Cape Coast school for the deaf and contributing to the renovation of an Accra boxing club.

Georginio Wijnaldum, on the other hand, has interacted with Sheik Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, Ghana's national Chief Imam. 

Depay has chosen to let fans know about his adventures in Ghana during the summer.

He posted a series of photos of himself taking a speed boat for a ride that have now gone viral.

Along with the photos was  a message by Depay that said, "Oil on my head everything I touch is blessed."

Fans spotted the necklace worn by Depay while coasting on the speed boat.

The necklace has a diamond pendant of his iconic celebration, with his hands in his ears to shut out the noise.

Football fans received the latest piece of jewelry by Depay well, with many positive reviews.

Depay will now be expected to return to Europe from Ghana for Atletico Madrid's preseason campaign.
