This FIFA Women’s Series was originally slated for March and April before being postponed. The tournament is a key part of the team's preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco

Kenya will host the four-nation event at Nyayo National Stadium, facing off against Australia, India, and Malawi. The series is designed to provide teams with valuable international experience and exposure to diverse playing styles.

Kenya, currently ranked 134th by FIFA, will face stiff competition. Australia is the highest-ranked participant at 15th in the world, while India sits at 67th and Malawi at 153rd.

Marion Serenge Earns Maiden Harambee Starlets Call-Up

A notable addition to the squad is former Kenya U17 forward Marion Serenge, who receives her first senior national team call-up.

Serenge, a key player for the Junior Starlets at the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, has been in fine form since joining Ugandan side St. Noah FC, where she has scored six goals in just five matches.

The squad also marks the return of experienced strikers Mercy Airo of Ulinzi Starlets and Terry Engesha, who have previously featured for the national team.
