A pitch invader ripped out a corner flag and ran along the touchline, waving it, before vanishing into the stadium tunnel.

The match promised a true football spectacle, featuring Manchester United icons like Darren Fletcher, Dimitar Berbatov, Michael Carrick, Nani, and Louis Saha, alongside Celtic legends including Artur Boruc, Georgios Samaras, and Shaun Maloney.

The Manchester side initially led 2-0, thanks to goals from Fletcher and Berbatov. However, Celtic staged a rapid comeback, leveling the score within five minutes through strikes from McDonald and Maloney. With the regular ninety minutes ending in a draw, the game proceeded to a penalty shootout, where Celtic hero Lee Naylor ultimately converted the decisive spot-kick.

In the second half, however, all eyes turned to a man in a grey tracksuit who stormed onto the pitch. Spectators watched in disbelief as the fan ripped out a corner flag – adorned with the Celtic crest – and then swiftly disappeared with it into the tunnel leading to the players' exit.

Fortunately, the incident did not overshadow the event's noble purpose: all proceeds from the match will fully support the Celtic FC Foundation's charitable programs, which aid the most vulnerable communities.
