Man United Defender Harry Maguire Scores Big as His Company Generates Multi-Million Revenue
Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has seen his off-field earnings soar, with his image rights company accumulating a fortune of over £8 million (Ksh1.4 billion), reflecting a remarkable resurgence in his career and popularity.
Once a target for critics, Maguire has re-established himself as a key player for the club. This turnaround is mirrored in the financial success of his personal firm, HM 5 Ltd, which now holds £8.7 million (Ksh1.5 billion) in reserves—a figure that surpasses many of his England teammates.
According to recent filings, the company generated over £4 million (Ksh701 million) in pure profit for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, after accounting for £1.15 million (Ksh201 million) in taxes and other costs.
These substantial earnings are in addition to his reported £190,000 (Ksh33.3 million)-a-week salary at Manchester United.
Maguire’s Great Form Rewarded with New Deal
The defender, famously nicknamed 'Slabhead' by former Leicester City teammate Jamie Vardy, has enjoyed a strong season. His contributions include a memorable winning goal in a 2-1 victory against Liverpool in October under former manager Ruben Amorim.
Previously expected to depart Old Trafford with his contract expiring in June, Maguire's consistent performances have earned him a new deal. The former club captain, who remains the world's most expensive centre-back, has signed a one-year extension until the summer of 2027, with an option for an additional season.
His renewed contract follows a series of reliable displays, including 12 appearances under interim manager Michael Carrick.
"Representing Manchester United is the ultimate honour," the England international stated. "I am delighted to extend my journey at this incredible club to at least eight seasons and continue to play in front of our special supporters to create more amazing moments together."
