Leverkusen Vs Darmstadt: Nigeria's Boniface bags another impressive brace in 6-goal thriller

Bayer Leverkusen are looking good in the Bundesliga after another impressive outing and victory. with Nigeria's Victor Boniface leading the Werkself.

It was another Victor Boniface show as Leverkusen maintained their 100 per cent start to the league season after a six-goal thriller against SV Darmstadt.

Boniface contributed three of the goals following a 5-1 thrashing of the visitors at the BayArena on Saturday.

The 22-year-old scored two goals and assisted another while Exequiel Palacious, Jonas Hofman and Adam Hlozek completed the convincing outing for Werkself.

The 22-year-old has become a fan favourite at the BayArena after another man-of-the-match display. 

Boniface netted a goal in either half against Darmstadt to continue his brilliant start to life at Leverkusen.

It was the second consecutive match that the former Union Saint-Gilloise had scored two goals after he also grabbed two goals in the 3-0 demolition of Borussia Monchengladbach last weekend. 

The Nigerian forward has now taken his tally to four goals and two assists in just three matches for Leverkusen. 

Bayer Leverkusen now sit pretty at the top of the Bundesliga table after three wins and in as many matches.
