In an interview with Corriere dello Sport, he emphasized that all options are on the table and a meeting with club officials is imminent.

The Italian international, whose contract runs until the summer of 2028, joined from Juventus for €12 million last August.

Chiesa had a difficult first season, arriving in England without pre-season training and needing to catch up throughout the year.

A Tough First Year in England

He ultimately made just six appearances in the Premier League, which Liverpool won. The 27-year-old scored one goal each in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup.

"The season's over, and it's an experience I'd try again. I'll be meeting with my agent, Fali Ramadani, the club, and my family very soon to discuss the best option for my future. I'm certainly not against staying at Liverpool," he told Corriere dello Sport.

The Italian has struggled for minutes since his £10 million transfer to Anfield last summer.

His woeful campaign has seen Chiesa, once a star name in the Italian national side, fall out of the team altogether, and he could fall even further down the pecking order if Florian Wirtz moves to Merseyside.

It was a challenging start for Chiesa as he worked to find his rhythm, setting the tone for a season where he struggled to make a real impact at Liverpool.

Despite limited playing time, the Reds’ No. 14 spoke positively about the head coach’s methods and leadership.
