Kenya Police FC made a fast start, opening the scoring in the fifth minute through Yves Junior Koutiama before Erick Zakayo doubled the lead in the 31st minute.

Charles Ouma added a third just before halftime in the 45th minute, as the visitors took full control of the encounter.

The defeat represents a major setback for AFC Leopards in the title race, especially as they had hoped to close the gap following Gor Mahia’s 1-0 loss to Tusker in their previous match.
