He made his Harambee Stars debut in a friendly match for Kenya against Burkina Faso on January 4, 2025, where they drew 1-1 before stealing the show in Kenya’s 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Gambia. Harambee Stars drew 3-3 with Gambia, with Mohammed Bajaber scoring.

Mohammed Bajaber Opens Up About Simba SC Move
The 22-year-old revealed that when his brother informed him about Simba SC's interest in him, he did not believe it.
Mohammed Bajaber pointed out that he saw it as a great opportunity and requested his brother to continue pursuing the move.
He admitted that there were a lot of things running through his mind since Simba SC is one of the greatest clubs in Tanzania.
“I was not sure about signing with Simba SC, but my brother had told me that they wanted me, and I was okay with that,” Mohammed Bajaber said.
“I told him that the move would be good and he should continue keeping tabs on that. I did not sleep for one night, and I was in my room alone, it was hard for me to sleep. Simba is a big team.”
Mohammed Bajaber withdrew from the Harambee Stars’ CHAN 2024 squad just days before the tournament to finalise his move to Simba SC. At the time, he was nursing an injury and racing to regain fitness ahead of the competition.
The transfer proved to be a blessing in disguise, giving him ample time to recover fully before the new season. Mohammed Bajaber is now in Egypt with Simba SC for their pre-season training camp.
