Simba SC fans have expressed their delight at the signing of Harambee Stars forward Mohammed Bajaber whom they feel will help them win domestic and continental titles.

Harambee Stars forward Mohammed Bajaber has finally been unveiled by Tanzanian giants Simba SC following his transfer from Kenya Police.

Bajaber’s move was reported early in the week and on Saturday, Simba finally confirmed it as he was unveiled after signing a two-year contract with Police set to receive Ksh12.9 million from the Tanzanian club.

The transfer has witnessed a frenzy among Simba fans who feel now they are ready to challenge for the league title, which has been won by bitter rivals Yanga in the last four years.

Can the Kenyan Star Live Up to the Expectations?

Some fans feel Simba will now be untouchable after the arrival of the Kenyan international.

‘Vigelegele fc wanapigwa surprise za kufa. Usajili huu wa kimataifa. Ligi ya ndani imekuwa uchocholo tu wa kuenda kimataifa. Kazi nzuri mwekezaji Mo Dewj, kamati ya usajili na kocha mkuu (Our rivals are surprised. This is an international signing. Good job Mo Dweji and the recruitment team),” said another delighted Simba fan.

Bajaber has joined Simba on a two-year deal having left Police, who he signed for in the January transfer window, this year.

The player left the Harambee Stars camp for the ongoing CHAN 2024 tournament to link up with his new team and is expected to continue his rehabilitation as he is still recovering from an injury that he sustained in June.
