Christopher Jeremiah takes the spotlight: Meet the TCC Player of the Week from Broad City

This time, it’s Christopher Jeremiah who grabbed the headline as he was named The Creative Championship, TCC, Player of the Week for matchday three.
Christopher inspires Broad City
Jeremiah proved to be a standout performer as Broad City preserved their 100% start to the new season with a routine 2-0 win over Iganmu FC.
The youngster lit up the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Stadium, with his performance as he inspired his ambitious side with his all-round display to lead his side to glory.
Per Wyscout, Jeremiah was on the pitch for 95 minutes and was a thorn in the flesh of Iganmu defenders who had nowhere to hide throughout the duration of the encounter.
Apart from the goal, he completed two dribbles, created two chances, made two key passes and won an incredible 13 duels.
That’s not all. The Broad City star also had four touches inside the opposition box, suffered three fouls and made six interceptions.
The number of duels won and interceptions made showed that the forward isn’t just a threat on the but a hard worker off it.
His performance against Iganmu was too good to be ignored and it earned him the Player of the Week award as a testament to his outstanding contributions to Broad City’s blistering start to the new TCC season.
In Jeremiah, Broad City may have found a true gem. His excellent skills and on-field presence, in addition to the award, have solidified his reputation as a rising star and player to look out for in future.
