Beyond Limits dedicate historic FA Cup win to bereaved academy player
Beyond Limits FA have dedicated their historic FA Cup win over Remo Stars to one of their players who lost his father.
Ayomide Ogungbe was bereaved as the No Limits boys defeated their senior colleagues and NPFL side Remo Stars 3-2 in the quarterfinal of the Ogun State FA Cup.
Beyond Limits came from behind two times to beat Remo to reach the semifinals of the competition for the first time in their history.

A first-half penalty and two outstanding goals in the second half earned Beyond Limits a record-breaking win over their parent club, Remo Stars.
The No Limits boys went into the game with one of their players in grief after he lost his father on Tuesday morning.
Manager of the club, Ajibolade Olumide told Pulse Sports Nigeria after the game that his team did their best to put a smile on Ogungbe's face.
"One of the lads lost his dad early this morning (before the game)," Beyond Limits boss told Pulse Sports exclusively.
"We tried to give him a reason to smile," the championship-winning coach said.
That's why we are champions
In a related development, the Beyond Limits boss was a proud man after leading his side to a historic run in the Ogun State FA Cup.
Olumide, who led Beyond Limits to a third consecutive TCC title earlier this month, tactically guided his side to the semifinal for the first time after a five-goal thriller against parent club, Remo.
Speaking further to Pulse Sports, the talented tactician noted that the performance showed why they are champions but he also noted that his team can do more.
"The boys had an amazing game and i didn't need to say anything special," Olumide added.
"We are TCC champions for a reason and that's how champions should compete. The mentality of the individuals is makes up the team's character and we can be better than this."
