CHAN 2024: 11 Gone, Eight Left but the Thriller Continues for Kenyans as Knockouts Beckon
Kenyans have been served a great spectacle during the ongoing 2024 African Nations Championships (CHAN 2024) whose group stage round ended on Tuesday.

In Group B, co-hosts Tanzania also finished top with 10 points, three more than Madagascar, with Mauritania also on seven points but knocked out on goal difference, as Burkina Faso and Central Africa Republic finished fourth and fifth with three and one point respectively.
Meanwhile, Uganda’s final minute comeback against South Africa saw them top Group C with seven points, one ahead of Algeria and Bafana Bafana, the North Africans qualifying due to a superior goal difference, as Guinea and Niger had four and two points in that order.
In Group D, which was played in Zanzibar, Sudan finished top on five points, same as Senegal, as both sealed a place in the last eight, while Nigeria and Congo Brazzaville were eliminated after managing three and two points respectively.
