Veteran shot-stopper Baboucarr Gaye takes his place between the posts, shielded by a defensive unit led by captain Omar Colley, who brings vast Serie A and Saudi Arabiam experience to steady the backline.

He is joined by Mahmudu Bajo, Sainey Sanyang, and Alagie Saine, forming a mix of youthful energy and defensive solidity.

In midfield, Ebrima Adams and Adama Sidibeh provide balance and creativity, while Sheriff Sinyan adds steel in the middle of the park.

Star forward Musa Barrow, who plies his trade with Al Taawoun in Saudi Arabia after spells in Serie A, spearheads the attack. He is flanked by Yankuba Minteh, Brighton’s explosive winger, and Muhammed Sanneh, ensuring Gambia carries pace and flair in the final third.

The Scorpions also boast a strong bench, with Ebrima Jarju, Momodou Lion Njie, and Ali Sowe among the options McKinstry can call upon if needed.

This clash promises fireworks, with Gambia seeking to build on its recent rise in African football while Kenya, under new boss Benni McCarthy, aims to turn Kasarani into a fortress.
