Manchester City head to the Allianz Arena where Bayern will look to complete the job against their host for a place in the semifinals on Wednesday night.

City comes into this encounter with a massive advantage in this game following a comprehensive and dominant 3-0 win from the first leg at the Etihad.

Rodri, Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland were the players who put the Bavarians and Tuchel to the sword when they met last week.

It’s not a big mountain for Bayern

With the Bundesliga giants set to host their Premier League counterparts in midweek, their manager Tuchel seems to have given his team a chance to turn things around.

According to a report on UEFA.com, the former Borussia Dortmund coach noted that while the task against City is huge, it’s not a big one for his champions.

Thomas Tuchel believes Bayern can still shock Manchester City.

"It's a huge mountain," Tuchel said. "You'll not trick me to say it's too big, but it's big.”

Speaking further, he praised his team’s performance from the first leg adding that they are excited for the second leg and won’t give up.

"We are not going to give up ahead of the second leg, we are much too excited,” he added.

“Of course, the result is bitter for us. I fell in love with my team a little, the way they performed. Even if sounds strange, it was a lot of fun."

Bayern to draw strength from four others

With Bayern’s belief that his team won’t give up ahead of the game against City, perhaps the German and his boys can draw inspiration from somewhere.

When the Bundesliga take to the pitch on Wednesday night with their fans backing them, they will be looking to become the latest club to overturn a three or more goals deficit in the Champions League.

Bayern Munich could become the fifth team to come back from three or more goals deficit.

Only four clubs, Barcelona, Liverpool, Roma and Deportivo La Coruna have managed the feat in the history of the competition.

Bayern have the pedigree and players to pronounce a magical performance that can see them become the fifth side to progress after being three goals down.
