French international Eduardo Camavinga will miss the start of the season for Real Madrid after it was revealed today that he has a sprained ankle, according to L'Equipe.
Spanish media had previously reported that Camavinga missed recent Real Madrid training sessions and would be absent from the club's final friendly against Austrian side Tirol on Tuesday. Real Madrid kicks off its La Liga campaign against Osasuna on August 19th.
Last season, Eduardo Camavinga missed four spells for Real Madrid, mainly due to muscular problems.
A groin injury sidelined the Frenchman for Real's last nine league games, as well as the Nations League finals with France.
