Andre Ayew once of Swansea and West Ham, is a free agent after leaving Qatari club Al-Sadd last month and his availability has not gone unnoticed.
Ayew set for talks with Premier League clubs
Ayew has been generating interest across the league but being a free agent meant there would be time even after the close of the window for clubs to get a deal done for him.
According to TalkSport, Ayew is now arriving in London with talks, with talks scheduled with a number of clubs, most especially Everton.
The Toffees are in desperate need of a new forward after failing to replace Anthony Gordon in January. In fact, the Merseyside outfit were the only top-flight club that didn’t make a single signing last month.
Ayew in demand
However, Everton are not alone in holding an interest in Ayew. His former club West Ham, as well as Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest, are all reportedly keen.
One potential issue is Ayew's work permit situation - but his representatives are confident that on appeal someone with other 100 senior international caps would be able to secure one.
