Giant Killers Equatorial Guinea received a dose of their own medicine as they were sent packing from the Africa Cup of Nations by Guinea after conceding a heartbreaking late goal against Guinea.
Nsue hot streak comes to an end
The Elephants came into the game as favourites, with in-form striker Emilio Nsue expected to continue his impressive scoring streak, but the Equatorial Guinea captain ended up being the one to cost them the game.

Unfortunately for the Elephants, Nsue failed to score from the spot as he saw his effort cannon off the post before going out of play.
Guinea advance to AFCON 2023 quarterfinals
Equatorial Guinea were made to pay for the miss with the last kick of the game as Le Havre forward Mohamed Bayo stole in at the near post to score from an impossible angle and give Guinea a devastating winning goal.
The win over Equatorial Guinea sees the Syli National win a knockout game for the first time in AFCON history and sets them up for a quarterfinal against Egypt or DR Congo.
