20 clubs to battle at Signet Youth Championship with enticing Offers Up For Grabs
The second edition of the Signet Youth Championship is slated to begin in Albati Barracks in Surulere on November 15.
The youth tournament, which is focused on showcasing exceptional young people from the local community, has intriguing and attractive incentives lined up.
The tournament's eventual victors, who will be chosen through a knockout phase, will be decided by a battle of 20 clubs.
Speaking to the press, the representative of Signet, Faruq Olateju, said the purpose of the tournament is to give the players more vibrant exposure and the opportunity to represent the brand in tournaments outside the shores of the country.
Each participating club will be given a hundred thousand naira as a participation fee.
The organizer of the tournament, Azeez Mustapha explained the mechanisms of the competition and explained the reasons for the increase in clubs from four in the first edition to 20 in the second edition.
Ajibade Football Academy head coach, Taiwo Ajagun stated that, he's excited about the tournament and the opportunities to be benefited by the clubs.
Papa Soccer Academy coach, James Temidayo said, he's satisfied with the rules of engagement highlighted by the organizers.
